Facetime Photoshoots

HOW DOES A FACETIME SHOOT WORK?

Stuck inside? Let’s create some art!

Posing for a FaceTime shoot is pretty similar to a traditional shoot. However, instead of a camera, you will be posing for your own phone. Don’t worry if you do not have as much modeling experience - I will guide you on how to pose and where to place the phone.

While we are on FaceTime, I will capture moments of the call by pressing the Live Photo button from which I can extract a still image, a video or a GIF. After completing the FaceTime shoot, I will edit and deliver the images via email, as I do for all of my photoshoots.

In order to successfully shoot:

  • Both devices must be set to allow Live Photo captures (Settings > FaceTime > allow FaceTime Live Photos on a iPhone or FaceTime > Settings > allow FaceTime Live Photos on a Mac).

  • Both devices must be using the latest macOS or IOS.

There is no set fee involved, this is simply a fun way to keep creating even during a pandemic. However, I am accepting gratuities through Venmo, Zelle, etc. Just remember, your shoot will be as successful as you make it, please bring creativity, enthusiasm, styling, and props - let's do this!
